Watch the Moment Thai Group 4MIX Wowed the Internet With Their Unique Moves

All across East Asia, music is having a resurgence. While K-pop fans are certainly well acquainted with Hallyu, the rising wave is lifting all ships in the region – helping budding groups in other East Asian countries reach a global audience like never before. There is certainly a demand among Asian countries for cultural relevance and even dominance, and a vocal demand from Western audiences for fresh, new, and exciting art that challenges the existing norms.

Enter 4MIX, a Thai group under 411 Records. The group has been together since 2021. This week, its four members (Ninja, Mcka, Folksong, and George), dropped a dance performance video for their song “WALK WALK.” Shot in front of a cyc wall with simple lighting effects and some post production effects to enhance its grittiness in key moments, the quartet has wowed the internet with their distinct moves.

The moves feel like a cool fusion of Bollywood and K-pop, with a wardrobe that feels like a sendup of hip-hop streetwear and masks akin to the American group twenty one pilots. It’s a really great fusion all around, with the squat move at 1:04 feeling particularly dope. The video has racked up an impressive 48,000 views in under 48 hours.

This feels like a potentially big break for the Thai group. Watch the moment 4MIX wowed the internet below.
