TAN Splitting Up, Leader Changsun Steps Down

TAN, the dynamic K-pop group formed through MBC’s survival show Wild Idol, is parting ways.

On June 29, the group's leader, Changsun, announced via a heartfelt letter on TAN’s official fan cafe that the group members are going their separate ways. In his message, he also revealed his decision to step down as the leader and exit the idol industry. However, he left the door open for a possible reunion in the future, hinting that this may not be the end for TAN.

TAN, which stands for “To All Nations,” debuted as a seven-member project group under Think Entertainment in March 2022. They made a strong entrance with their mini album Limited Edition ‘1TAN’ and the electrifying title track “Du Du Du.” Their final release before this announcement was their first full-length album, W Series ‘3TAN’ (World Ver.), featuring the title track “HYPERTONIC.”

As TAN members embark on new paths, fans will hold onto the hope of a future regrouping, cherishing the impactful music and memories the group has created in their brief but vibrant journey.
