Reports from media outlets that began circulating on June 13, 2024 KST have revealed that NCT 127 is gearing up for a summer comeback. This summer comeback will mark their first return after about 7 years away. After this comeback, the group is said to be planning a drop of their 6th full-length album sometime in mid-July. This is their first significant move since their last summer promotions – during the Cherry Bomb era back in June 2017.
Interestingly, this comeback will also be the first time NCT 127 will promote in the summer without their leader, Taeyong, who started his mandatory military service in the South Korean navy in April this year. However, fans can expect the potential return of member Taeil, who took a break from promotions last August due to an injury.
NCT 127 will also be celebrating their 8th anniversary with a fan meeting titled “8ECRET INVITATION,” scheduled for August 3-4, 2024 at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul.
