DAY6 Delivers Heartwarming Mini Concert for Young Fan Battling Leukemia

In a touching display of support and compassion, DAY6 recently met with 7-year-old Lee Geon-woo, who is bravely battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. According to JYP Entertainment on the 25th, the band held a special mini-concert for Lee and gifted him musical instruments, creating a memorable and uplifting experience for the young fan.

This heartfelt encounter is part of JYP Entertainment's ongoing 'EDM Project' in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Korea, which has been providing emotional support to children with rare diseases since 2019. The connection between DAY6 and Lee Geon-woo was initiated after Make-A-Wish Korea shared that Lee, a devoted fan of the band, was unable to attend their concerts due to his compromised immune system.

During the visit, DAY6 members warmly encouraged Lee, saying, "Get healthy and let's meet at the concert," while presenting him with a piano and performing a private concert. This beautiful gesture highlights the power of music and the band's dedication to positively impacting their fans' lives.

What a touching moment! It is a great reminder of the wonderful things that idols have the ability to do. Way to go, DAY6!
