VERIVERY (Korean: 베리베리) is an all-male South Korean K-pop group formed and managed by Jellyfish Entertainment. Assembled in 2018, they eventually made their official debut on January 9, 2019. VERIVERY was Jellyfish Entertainment's first boy band since VIXX, with a 6 year gap in between them.
Their debut release was Veri-Us, a 5 song EP featuring the standout track “Ring Ring Ring.” Known as a self-producing group, they write and craft their own albums and have even released music videos directed and edited by group member Minchan.
The band is composed of seven members: Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, and Kangmin. Dongheon is currently serving his mandatory military service. Hoyoung is currently on hiatus for mental health reasons, and Yongseung is taking a break due to an aggravated back injury.
Far from one of the most popular or most-listened to idol groups in South Korea, the band still has a loyal and devoted following. VERIVERY fans are called VERRER.
To date, their most-streamed song is called “Lay Back,” but other notable tracks include “My Beauty” and “With Us.”
