Who is SUPER JUNIOR?

 

SUPER JUNIOR (Korean: 슈퍼주니어) is an all-male South Korean K-pop group formed by Lee Soo-man (founder of SM Entertainment) in 2005. Referred to as the “King of Hallyu Wave,” the band has made significant contributions to Hallyu, or the “Korean Wave” of mass media influence across the globe. For example, their best-selling single was entitled “Sorry, Sorry” and launched them into global pop stardom. SUPER JUNIOR was the best-selling K-pop artist four years in a row.

 

Originally a twelve-man group, SUPER JUNIOR became a thirteen-man group at their peak and are currently a seven-man group. Past and current members include Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin.
