NU’EST (Korean: 뉴이스트) was a South Korean boy band from March 15, 2012 to March 15, 2022. Formed by Pledis Entertainment, the group had five members: JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren. The group first drew attention as the backup dancers for After School. They featured on other releases from fellow Pledis labelmates before making their eventual debut. They had hits with songs like “Face” and “BET BET.” The band came to an end after the expiration of their 10 year contract. Aron, JR and Ren left Pledis Entertainment. Baekho and Minhyun decided to stay on.
