fromis_9 is a K-pop girl group under CJ E&M that was formed in 2017 through the reality program Idol School. The group’s name makes reference to this, being shorthand for “9 girls from Idol School.” The group is now an 8-piece group after the departure of Jang Gyu-ri in 2022. The members are Roh Ji-sun, Song Ha-young, Lee Sae-rom, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, Park Ji-won, Lee Seo-yeon and Baek Ji-heon. They debuted in 2018 under Stone Music Entertainment, with continued management under Stone Music’s Off the Record Entertainment, with creative direction from Pledis Entertainment. They are best known for songs like “DM,” “Love Me Back,” and “WE GO.”
