4Minute (Korean: 포미닛) was an all-female South Korean idol group under Cube Entertainment. They made their debut in 2009 and made a career off of 2 LPs (one Japanese, one Korean) and 7 Korean EPs. They were edgy, with a Girl Crush style meant to appeal to fellow women. The group’s contract was not renewed in 2016, and the group disbanded. The group’s members were Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, Hyuna, and Sohyun.
