Watch the moment BADVILLAIN sang their anthem to the world

It’s a bold move for a group to name a song after themselves. The self-titled song says a lot about the group performing it, and it’s gotta be good. Luckily, “BADVILLAIN” by BADVILLAIN serves as a fitting anthem for the group’s energy, talents, and vibe. Not only is it an excellent studio recording, but it translates well on live television.

Take BADVILLAIN’s June 14, 2024 performance on KBS’ Music Bank, for example. We recently reported that BADVILLAIN made their debut this past week, and as part of the promotion for their big debut they started performing on the live TV circuit. While the dancing wasn’t as flawless as other major groups out there (or even as good as some of the other acts on the episode), the group made it through based on the strength of their music alone.

This anthem heralded in the new age of BADVILLAIN in such an epic and powerful fashion that it was easy to overlook any flaws in the performance. They’re a brand new group. Chalk it up to inexperience. But the music is so good you want to stick around and watch them grow into it. We anticipate a day in the very near future where everything is dialed in and their dancing skills match the intensity and ferocity of the music.

It was a memorable debut performance, and that anthem deserved to be the song they arrived with. Watch the moment BADVILLAIN debuted below.
