VERIVERY’s Dynamic Debut and Domination

VERIVERY is Jellyfish Entertainment's dynamic boy band that hit the scene in 2018, stealing hearts with their debut EP Veri-Us on January 9, 2019. What sets VERIVERY apart? They're not just another boy band—they produce their own albums and even direct their own music videos. It's a collaborative effort led by Minchan, who merges everyone's ideas into one creative powerhouse.

In 2018, Jellyfish Entertainment teased the arrival of a new seven-member boy group, eventually unveiling them as VERIVERY. The name is a blend of 'veri' (Latin for truth) and 'very', embodying their diverse, energetic, real, and innovative spirit.

Before their official debut, VERIVERY warmed up with the reality show Now VERIVERY: Real Road Movie. The OST, Super Special, dropped with the show, teasing fans with a taste of what was to come. January 2019 marked their debut with Veri-Us, featuring the catchy lead single "Ring Ring Ring". They followed up with Veri-Able in April 2019 and their first overseas gig at KCON 2019 in New York with "From Now".

VERIVERY's sound evolved with each release: Veri-Chill in July 2019, Face Me in January 2020, and Face You in July 2020, with each EP showcasing their growth and versatility. They made headlines on Road to Kingdom, showcasing their talent and placing fifth overall with "Beautiful-X". The Face It series launched in January 2020, followed by Face You and Face Us, with hits like "Thunder" and "G.B.T.B. (Go Beyond The Barrier).” Their journey continued with Series 'O' Round 1: Hall in March 2021, topped by "Get Away" on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.

VERIVERY's momentum didn't stop there. Series 'O' Round 2: Hole dropped in August 2021, and by 2022, they were conquering new territories with Series 'O' Round 3: Whole and their Japanese debut. 2023 brought Liminality – EP.Love and their first music show wins with "Tap Tap.” The boys celebrated their achievements with a first-ever solo concert and continued to impress fans worldwide with their energetic performances.

However, VERIVERY have faced their share of setbacks, too. Member Minchan took health-related hiatuses, but the group pressed on with their dreamy aesthetics and inspiring success.

VERIVERY isn't just a K-pop sensation; they're a force to be reckoned with, blending truth and energy into every beat and lyric. As of May 2024 the group is still very active. Keep an eye out for them—they're only getting started!
