HYBE’s new group is a mega collaboration with Geffen Records. This girl group aims to be extra international and inclusive of more perspectives and cultures – giving their music unique flavor. Indeed, it appears KATSEYE will redefine what makes a K-pop group a K-pop group.
KATSEYE’s first single is aptly titled “Debut.” You literally can’t dream up a better debut song title. Today, HYBE and Geffen Records revealed the group’s second MV teaser for the song, and the 27 second clip also revealed the song’s hook. Far from being on the nose, they work the “Debut” concept into the lyrics quite effortlessly.
The choreography for the music video also seems to be top notch, with signature moves and great costumes and locations. “Debut” drops on June 28 EST / 1 PM KST. Watch the MV teaser below!
