Have you seen this new animated STAYC logo?!

After releasing some absolutely colossal singles like “ASAP,” “STEREOTYPE,” and “RUN2U” – all of which have over 100 million Spotify Streams – the South Korean girl group STAYC is gearing up for their first full-length album. It’ll be their first comeback since the Japanese version of “Bubble” dropped in December.

Their band name is short for "Star to a Young Culture," and these six girls are definitely poised to be just that. Their first full length album has been a long time coming. Since they debuted in November of 2020, they have been churning out hits ever since. Their Instagram following alone is sitting at 2.1 million.

In preparation of their debut LP Metamorphic, STAYC has been taking full advantage of their Instagram grid, releasing extra wide teasers of their concept photos. These photos include not just photos of the group members, but also more esoteric imagery – like that of shattering mirrors, beating hearts, and marking calendars.

The most recent reveal has been the logo for Metamorphic. Gorgeously animated, it seamlessly transforms between esoteric items: A candy heart, a shattered hard candy, a shattered mirror, an ornate beating heart, and finally a metal ring that becomes the "O" in Metamorphic. It’s a perfect way to demonstrate metamorphosis and the shifting themes and concepts of from the album.

Metamorphic drops Monday, July 1, 2024 at 6 PM KST. Check out the logo reveal below!
