BLACKPINK is celebrating their eighth debut anniversary today, on August 8. Regarded as trailblazers of third-generation K-pop girl groups, the quartet—comprising members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé—is a force to be reckoned with.

 

In July of last year, the members of BLACKPINK were seen leaving Seoul's Gimpo International Airport after successfully completing the Asia leg of their BORN PINK world tour. Jennie and Jisoo exited first, followed closely by Rosé. As the media captured their arrival, Rosé unexpectedly broke into a spontaneous dance, surprising everyone.

Feeling shy and slightly embarrassed, Rosé covered her face with her hands while Jennie and Jisoo couldn't stop laughing. It was later revealed that Rosé had lost a quiz during the group's seventh anniversary celebrations and had to dance at the airport as a penalty.
