TOMORROW X TOGETHER (SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI) made history with a formidable debut on the latest Billboard 200 chart (dated November 23), entering at No. 2 with their 7th Mini album The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY.
From their May 2021 release The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE to minisode 2: Thursday's Child (May 2022), The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION (January 2023), The Name Chapter: FREEFALL (October 2023), minisode 3: TOMORROW (April 2024), and their latest release The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, six of TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s releases have attained Top 5 debuts on the Billboard 200. This remarkable achievement positions them as the second K-pop act to reach this milestone, following BTS.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER have made 11 entries on the chart so far with eight Korean albums and three Japanese releases. Gen Z icons have demonstrated a remarkable upward trajectory, entering the Billboard 200 chart every year since their debut. They first appeared on Billboard 200 at No. 140 with their first Mini Album The Dream Chapter: STAR (dated March 16, 2019) and topped the chart with their 5th mini album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION (dated February 11, 2023). Every Korean album following their 5th Mini Album was ranked within the top 3 on the Billboard 200.
The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY notched up 95,500 units in album sales, also securing the title as the top-selling album of the week. This marks TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 7th album to reach No. 1 on Billboard Top Album Sales chart, establishing them as the K-pop act with the largest number of chart-topping records.
The latest release also achieved notable milestones on the UK Official Chart, charting at No. 14 in the Album Downloads category (dated November 14). It also secured the No. 25 spot on Offizielle Deutsche Charts’ Top 100 Albums chart (dated November 15).
