KickFlip Officially Join the Million-Seller Club

by Hasan Beyaz

KickFlip just crossed their first big milestone – over one million albums sold on Hanteo across their three releases. No viral fluke, no sudden overnight hit; just a consistent climb since debut. They first appeared in January this year under JYP Entertainment with Flip It, Kick It!, following a pre-release single at the top of the month. Less than a year later, they’re sitting in million-seller territory.

The lineup – Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon – have been inching forward with every comeback rather than banking everything on one “breakout moment.” Physical sales tell the story pretty clearly: people aren’t just listening, they’re buying. My First Flip, their third mini album released on September 22, seems to be the push that tipped the numbers over.

It’s a competitive rookie field this year, flooded with debuts from all the big agencies, but KickFlip are proving they’re not just filling space in JYP’s lineup. Whether they’re positioned as the company’s next core boy group or something a bit more experimental is still taking shape – but the numbers suggest fans have already made their call.

If they keep this pace, the real question won’t be whether they go global – just what route they take to get there.
