Davichi (Korean: 다비치) is a South Korean K-pop duo formed in 2008. To date, they have released 3 LPs and 6 EPs. Their music has been featured in movies and television, including productions like It’s Okay, That’s Love, Descendants of the Sun, and more. Their debut single was “I Love You Even Though I Hate You” in 2008 and won a Rookie of the Year award. Since that time, they’ve had 7 number-one singles in South Korea. 

 

The duo consists of Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung. The two women have a less polished aesthetic as most acts in the Korean Wave, instead preferring an authentic every-girl aesthetic. Sonically, their music sits closer to traditional R&B.
