NCT Doyoung is one of the most melodious vocalists of his generation. His voice is like a spread of honey on warm bread. He recently released new music wherein he showcased a sweet side to his artistry. Titled “시리도록 눈부신” in Korean and “The Story” in English, this song is reminiscent of Doyoung’s signature style. 

Prior to the song’s release, several concept teasers and music video teasers were released. Today we will look at one particular set of music video teaser images. In this set, we see Doyoung in two different settings. In one setting, he is dressed in a powder blue shirt with a silky orange tie and pair of thin striped pants. He is standing against a plain background. In a close up shot in this setting, a flurry of glitter confetti is seen across the image. In the second setting, Doyoung is seen sitting on a stage with a pensive look on his face. The stage is decorated with white balloons, grand curtains, a chandelier and more curtains at the back. There is also a microphone stand in the center of the stage. In the same setting, he is seen standing on the stage in the middle of his performance. There is an addition to the decor with stars and colorful confetti that lends a dreamy look to the setting. Doyoung is dressed in the same outfit, except he is now wearing a matching thin striped blazer over the powder blue shirt. 

The title of the song gives a sense of nostalgia and so do these music video teasers. It is truly endearing to see Doyoung create music that resonates with the audience.
