HeeJin channels her inner rockstar in her live performance of the English-rock version of "Algorithm"

Jeon Hee Jin, known as HeeJin, is a member of the girl group LOONA and the sub-group ARTMS, which includes five former LOONA members following their departure from Blockberry Creative.

The "Algorithm" (English-rock) version is the English adaptation of the Korean song released last year as part of HeeJin's debut solo mini-album, K. This English-rock version marks her first English digital single and serves as the second track from her debut single of the same name. After releasing the Korean version with a music video, HeeJin debuted the "Algorithm" (English-rock) version during the United States leg of the 2024 ARTMS World Tour <Moonshot>.

Embodying her inner rockstar, HeeJin explores themes of heartbreak and the emotional turmoil that comes with it, ultimately finding a way to accept the end of a romantic relationship. As one of the songwriters, she delivers honest and unfiltered lyrics that inspire, including lines like "Addiction, quitting you, the hardest thing. But let you go, I’ll let you go." "Algorithm" is a power-pop song that seamlessly blends various sub-genres such as pop-rock, dance-pop, synth-pop, and new jack swing into a delightful track. It conveys a motivating message that heartbreak is not the end of the world, even when it feels that way.
